Abstract—Ontology Guided Semantic Self Learning
Framework is a software which is capable of learning from
natural language sources. Knowledge extraction process is
performed by modeling ontology from the natural language text.
The system uses its acquired knowledge to perform teaching and
explaining activities to its end users. Self-learning and question
based learning modules are two main modules of the system.
Semantic learning module captures the knowledge from the text
and represents them in an ontology based environment.
Question based learning system performs teaching activities to
end users. The Natural language learning process achieved
seventy percent accuracy while ontology construction process
achieved over sixty five percent of accuracy. The research solved
the problem of lack of understanding and capturing the
knowledge from Natural Language sources and represents the
captured knowledge in an automated and efficient manner. It
introduced a novel approach of knowledge capturing from
unstructured natural language text.
